Cloudreach Meadow Guide — Spawns, Weather Forms and Specials
Published 2026-09-217 min read
Cloudreach Meadow spawns explained: rainy-form Cloudwool and Fluffwool, riverside Playfish, wolf packs led by Blazewolf, and every special unlock in the starter meadow.

Cloudreach Meadow is Aniimo's opening grassland — the region where you learn packs, weather and the dex sweep. It is also a quietly good hunting ground: five documented special entries, two of them rain-gated, and spawn tables that feed three different evolution lines you will want later.
Common spawns
The meadow's permanent residents:
- Cinderpup — the fire pup, roaming in packs across the western grass. It is your first Dash-type and the base of the wolf evolution line.
- Blazewolf — spawns singly on the western side of the meadow, typically as the leader of a Cinderpup pack. The pack-leader pattern matters: scan groups, not lone wolves.
- Playfish — the rivers and lakes; meadow specimens run larger than the base species elsewhere, and the waterline route is the efficient sweep.
- Lotusfin — pond edges in the wetter southern stretches.
- Whistlegull — open-sky flier, common over the central meadow.
- Gloomflame — the little floating flame, near the treeline margins.
Weather forms — this region rains value
Cloudreach's signature hunting is rain-locked:
| Creature | Form | Condition | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudwool | Rainy | Rain | Region-wide — rainy Cloudwool replaces the basic population nearly everywhere except the far east |
| Fluffwool | Rainy | Rain | Only two fixed spawn points — check both each rain |
Two lessons hide in that table. First, the rainy Cloudwool swap is near-total — one good rainstorm is a full dex entry across the whole region. Second, Fluffwool's two fixed points are the exception that proves the rule: always check which weather forms replace populations and which hold specific coordinates.
When your meadow refuses to rain, remember the friend-world trick: someone, somewhere, is getting drenched right now (how it works).
Special Aniimo in the meadow
Five documented special entries, several with unlock conditions:
- Rainy Cloudwool — at its western-coordinate spawn during rain, beyond the regional replacement pattern.
- Cloudborne Cloudwool — high-coordinate spawn point; treat the high meadow as its habitat.
- Fluffwool boss — a fixed boss spawn in the central meadow; respawns about a minute after capture, like most bosses.
- Rainy Fluffwool — the two fixed rain points above.
- Iridescent Fluffwool — the region's iridescent chase: nourish the meadow's Ley Flower to trigger the iridescent phenomenon, then hunt.
Hidden-list chatter (community-unconfirmed at launch): additional meadow specials including a golden-shell crab variant and a hidden rock-line spawn. We will update this page as conditions are verified — treat unlisted spawns as rumors until then.
Routes that work
The rain route (when raining): sweep the full meadow west-to-east, hitting both Fluffwool fixed points and every Cloudwool cluster — one pass is usually both dex entries and a stack of captures for the Research Handbook.
The pack route (any weather): western grass in a loop, capturing Cinderpup packs and checking each for a Blazewolf leader; swing along the river south for Playfish and Lotusfin; finish at the Ley Flower.
The night pass: the meadow's day spawns mostly sleep in place — a second lap after dark catches night-form stragglers with zero route changes.
What the meadow feeds
Everything here is progression in disguise:
- Cinderpup → Blazewolf captures stock the evolution line that eventually reaches Infernowolf.
- Rainy sheep forms pad the dex milestones that drive fast leveling.
- The Fluffwool boss is an early, safe introduction to boss capture rhythm — and pays Champion's Seals on report.
Clear the meadow's weather table early; it is the cheapest completeness you will ever buy in Aidel, and it teaches every pattern the later regions will demand.
