Training inheritance carries levels, stars and potential — but NOT shiny or appearance resources.
Spend shiny-flavored resources on your base-form Infernowolf today, and those costs do not travel to the iridescent form next month. The base form is fully usable in the meantime — build it, use it, farm with it. Just keep the shiny and appearance wallet closed until the event form exists on your account.
